We’re thrilled to announce the relaunch of our online shop, going live on December 1st at 10 AM PST! The updated shop will feature must-have products from RD2 (Rob Deezy), Rain Dean and the highly anticipated re-launch of our Honda Element Hatch Release. We are also excited to be working on @emo.element’s (Creekmore Designs) creations to bring to the online shop in the near future. Check out the updates below. PRODUCT UPDATES:
Honda Element Rear Hatch Release by Overland Antidote
We’re excited to announce that the Honda Element Rear Hatch Release kits are back in stock! We currently have 8 units in stock, and more coming. We’ve sold dozens of these kits, including a bunch at the PNW Element Meetup, and the feedback is all positive. What makes our kit stand out from the rest is the use of OEM Honda handles and parts to give it the OEM look. Act quickly if you’ve been waiting to get one of these highly sought-after items.
RD2 (Rob Deezy) Products
Many of you know of the situation Rob Deezy was put in by Element Driven. For those that aren’t aware I encourage you to look up Rob’s recent posts on social media to gain some idea of what’s been happening.
Rob Deezy has been working hard to bring his products back to the market. Our collaboration with Rob is ongoing and we’ve been working with him since the beginning of Overland Antidote though we’ve been personal friends with him for far longer. Even though the Element Driven situation left him with no inventory and is owed money, he’s focused on getting highly requested items back to market.
With all that said, the Element Overland roof racks, Sport roof racks, Tailgate Storage Kits, and Rear Side Window Storage Panel will be up for pre-order when the Overland Antidote store re-launches. Due to Rob being left with no stock, these items will be made to order and sold as “pre-orders". Lead time is 6-8 weeks.
Smaller products, such as the Hatch Reinforcement Plates and Fog Light Pod Adapters, are already in stock and will be available for purchase when the online store re-launches. We only have a limited 20 sets of each, for this first batch, so act quickly to secure your own set. More are on order, but they can take weeks to arrive.
Rob is also considering creating a limited-edition item to help fund his production efforts. All proceeds will go directly to Rob, and Overland Antidote will handle distribution. Stay tuned for more details on this special release!
Rain Dean Products
After many years of making his popular Eletent line of products, Rain Dean has decided to focus on new career opportunities, which means he’ll be scaling back production and then completely stepping away in the spring. His iconic Basecamp Eletent will be available in limited quantities through Overland Antidote. We will have 10 Basecamps ready at launch with a few more already on order. If this second batch arrives in time they will also be available when the store re-launches. We will continue to replenish stock in small batches through the spring based on Rain’s production output and schedule.
In some more exciting news, after some discussion Rain has agreed to also make the larger 5D Eletents! Keep in mind that Rain made it clear that these will be made in very limited supply. These are more difficult for him to make and take a significant longer time. Stay tuned for an update in the future about these incredible tents!
@emo_element (Creekmore Designs) Wood Products
We've been working closely with @emo.element (Instagram), to develop a refined series of wood-based storage solutions, for a year or more. These products are updates to his previous designs you may have seen on social media over the years, but with some refinements, construction upgrades, and better materials. Greg, our in house expert, is a retired cabinet maker and this collaboration will result in sturdier and more durable cabinets, and other products, that function and look better too! They will reflect both emo.element’s and our vision for quality and functionality. Prototype cabinets are in development and, once testing wraps up with local Element owners, we’ll launch these highly-anticipated cabinets and other designs. His popular window shelves, jump seats, and more are also being refined and will also be available in the future on Overland Antidote. We’re also excited to announce that to test these new cabinet designs we will be looking for one or two Element community members to get these in their rigs to test and give us feedback. Are you interested? Keep an eye out for a future email.
